Categories of data processed
Aton receives and collects, through the websites it manages (namely www.atoninformatica.it and www.joblook.it), information relating to the user/visitor who browses the website pages and uses the web services available therein. In particular, the Company acquires and processes the following information.
Data collected through browsing and cookies – When the user/visitor browses the websites, they collect certain data such as the pages viewed, links or buttons clicked by the user/visitor, the date and time of access, the user’s/visitor’s IP address, the browser used, and the operating system (so-called “browsing data”). By their very nature, browsing data may allow the user/visitor to be identified, including through processing and association with data held by third parties. However, the Company uses such data solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on website usage, strictly related to the operation of the websites themselves. Browsing data may also be used to ascertain liability in the event of any computer-related offenses to the detriment of the websites.
Furthermore, with regard to the collection of user/visitor data through cookies and similar technologies, please refer to the Cookie Policy available on Aton’s websites.
Data voluntarily provided by the user/visitor – The Company limits the collection of information voluntarily provided by the user/visitor to what is necessary to pursue the purposes set out below and to deliver the services expressly requested. In addition, the Company may collect and process further personal data where such data are voluntarily provided by the user/visitor in connection with the services offered by the websites, for example when the user/visitor contacts the Company to report service disruptions or malfunctions, request assistance, exercise their rights regarding the processing of personal data, etc. Such data will be processed by the Company solely for purposes strictly related to the user’s request. Failure to provide such data may result in the inability to obtain the requested service.
The Company, through the Websites, may process the user’s/visitor’s data for the following purposes:
Registration in the database and submission of job applications.
The Company offers users/visitors of the website www.joblook.it the opportunity to submit their job applications through a dedicated section of the website. For this purpose, Aton will acquire and use the information provided by the user/visitor who applies for a job position solely for the purposes of selection and management of applications, in order to respond to the user’s/visitor’s request and to carry out any necessary pre-contractual measures related to employment.
In the case of unsolicited and general applications submitted by the user/visitor, the personal data provided may be used by Aton to contact the user/visitor regarding positions and recruitment processes—also in the future—consistent with their professional profile. In any case, users/visitors are invited not to include in their CV any “special” and/or sensitive data (e.g. relating to health status, political opinions, sexual life, etc.), except for those strictly required by law for selection and CV evaluation purposes (e.g. belonging to protected categories).
The Company may also ask the user/visitor to provide explicit and voluntary consent for the disclosure of their CV to third-party companies, acting as independent data controllers, in order to be contacted for employment opportunities related to the data provided.

User/visitor data may also be processed for the exercise of the rights and legitimate interests of the Company and/or third parties, such as the right of defense in legal proceedings, complaint and dispute management, potential debt recovery, and the prevention of fraud and/or unlawful activities. In these cases, although the provision of personal data by the user/visitor is not mandatory, it is nevertheless necessary, as such data are strictly connected and instrumental to the pursuit of these legitimate interests, which do not override the fundamental rights and freedoms of the user/visitor. Compliance with legal and/or regulatory obligations.
The Company may also process the personal data provided by the user/visitor or otherwise acquired during the interaction with the Website for purposes related to compliance with legal obligations, regulations, national and/or EU legislation, as well as provisions issued by legally authorized authorities. Subject to the user’s/visitor’s explicit consent, Aton offers the possibility to receive newsletters, commercial communications, and, more generally, information and updates on the Company’s results and activities via automated channels (e.g. fax and email). The legal basis for this processing is the optional consent of the user/visitor, who may freely choose whether to receive such communications. Failure to provide such consent will not in any way prevent access to the Company’s and the Website’s services.
The user/visitor may object to the receipt of communications and withdraw their consent—also partially, for individual communication channels—by contacting the details provided below and/or by clicking on the unsubscribe link included in the emails sent.
User/visitor data will be retained for the period necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and to carry out related and instrumental activities, in compliance with the ordinary limitation periods set out by the Italian Civil Code or by specific legal provisions, for administrative purposes and/or to establish, exercise, or defend a right or a legitimate interest. Such data will be deleted once the purposes for which they were collected have been fulfilled.
Personal data collected for the purpose of evaluating applications for positions within the Aton organization will be retained for 24 months from the date of submission.
Lastly, data collected for the purpose of sending newsletters will be retained until the user/visitor unsubscribes or objects to such processing.
At the end of these retention periods, the data will be stored in anonymized form for analysis and statistical purposes.
Marketing communications will be sent only after explicit consent has been obtained.
The user/visitor may choose to receive marketing or promotional communications by selecting the appropriate checkbox in the form through which data are collected.
Please note that the right to opt out may be exercised at any time by contacting Aton at privacy@atonit.azurewebsites.net and providing the following information: name and email address, specifying that the user/visitor no longer wishes to receive marketing communications.

Aton collects data relating to users’/visitors’ computers, including (where possible) the IP address, operating system, and browser type, for system administration purposes. These are statistical data concerning users’/visitors’ browsing activities and behavior that do not allow the identification of the user or any other individual.
For the same reason, the Company collects information about users’/visitors’ internet usage through a cookie file which, subject to authorization, is stored on the device. Cookies help Aton improve its websites and deliver better and more personalized content. For further information on the use of cookies on our websites, please refer to the Cookie Policy.
